This is what confuses me, you say it's one of the best funk instrumentals ever made but it just sounds like a filler b side with no tune or direction. I do like funky type northern sounds, much more than 'modern' northern; Lou Edwards, Nate Evans, Willie J, High Voltage etc.

I've got Ian Levine's old copy of this - the copy from his 'comeback' era - looks superb, but on closer examination it has an UK MCA number stamped in the run off

They probably just kept it on catalogue as it was a very big seller, hence the repress.

Just saying - I've now lost count of the amount of unreleased tracks I've put up here and I didn't edit one apart from the Temptones and then I put the full version of that up.

I'm afraid I am responsible for this. Except after I'd done it, Rob Thomas told me he'd got the copyright and he'd sue me. I couldn't be bothered getting into an argument so I sold the lot to Manship at cost. There were exactly 100 made, I sold about 35 on my list, John had the rest. So it is actually very rare, I've only got one copy.
