  1. Don't think I've heard that. I haven't heard half of the tracks people have mentioned, shame a few more clips couldn't have gone up

You need to switch the macro on on your camera!
  3. This has been mentioned here before but well worth a listen, different version of Porgy & The Monarchs
  4. You mock me, but one of those that I did, I gave a few cd's away to people and incredibly one ended up on that Funk Bros bootleg cd! Gladys Knight inst it was. Done on a pc karaoke program.
  5. Actually I think it may still be up on here somewhere as I posted it back in about November??
  6. There's a record called We're Not Too Young by this group I think
  7. I've got a better one if you want me to post it up - that one was from a cd I did in the 90's, then I bought Rob Marriott's acetate off Mickey & Jodie and it was much better quality

Easier than that - it's on vinyl with a moulded label, the boot is on styrene with a stick on label and a 1976 delta number
  9. This one doesn't really count as I did it as an experiment which almost but not quite worked - instrumental version of Timi Yuro - It'll Never...but I couldn't adjust it enough to remove the voice completely, however in some parts you do get to hear an absolutely beautiful string arrangement better than you can on the record
  10. She's wanted in 3 states - instrumental and complete I think
  11. Not a patch on Roy Hamilton though - Lou's version enclosed
  12. This might be an unreleased demo version of Needless To Say by Bernard Williams though I have it listed as Tears Tell The Whole Sad Story
  13. It says Diane Lewis but it isn't

Someone needs to have a word with that guy. Some poor schmuck has bid $70 on Twans
  15. Good thread this got me digging a few old cd's out - I've got one with a tremendous unissued Motown track on called I think, Til The End Of Time and it begins like no other Northern record I've heard, it's like a freight trains coming, that intro is one of the best 20 nseconds of music I've ever heard...then unfortunately it goes into a bit of a midtempo plodder, but worth hearing just for the start
  16. "Rose Valentine" instrumental
  17. That is a fake mate, it's just had the pitch changed, I know this for a fact because I recreated it myself and I'm pretty sure I posted it up here about 2 months ago. Just need a program called "the amazing slow downer" and you can speed up the vocal while the backing track stays the original speed.
  18. You Ain't Got A Chance - awesome - wonder who it is?
  19. I've put it on a few cd's with names on it mate, bet it turns out to be one of those..I think it's Wanda Andrews or sommat like that
  20. Here's another fantastic unissued track, originally discovered by Kev Roberts
  21. What about this, Darlene Love, found it on a compilation in the 80's, turned up on a few more lp's and cd's later but first time I heard this it blew me away, still does, talk about Wall Of Sound!
  22. Anybody know what or who this one is?? Great break in the middle by the way.
  23. I'm positive it's not the same. Obviously this is running much slower but I swear it's different.
  24. No it's a different take mate, different vocal and the endings different. I'll dig it out and post it up in a minute
  25. Rose Valentine mate, and yes, that is absolutely fantastic, not the one kent put out but the original one Searling used to play...the Kent one is great but just not quite as good. And what about Who Are You Trying To Fool - fantastic - and the instrumental version, just as good.
