I like Peggy March as well but in the grand scheme of things where something like Eddie Parker's "I'm Gone" (for instance) is rightly seen as the pinnacle of Northern Soul, these Anka / March records are just inconsequential pop fluff.

I didn't say that did I, I said at the time it was discovered back in 78 it was played alongside the records I quoted plus Judith Durham, Gene Latter, Blue Chips, Charlie Gracie etc. and was considered, rightly, a pop stomper. I've no idea why it's been rehabilitated. It's okay, I like it, but there's a thousand better records out there. If you like it then fine, why worry about what I think of it? I was just trying to find out what was behind it's revival.

Nearly sold this last year, got two or three offers, one of which I accepted, then the guy never came through with the money, so I lost the sale.
