  1. Excellent research...I knew about Siggy Jackson/Melodisc/Blue Beat and would have said so had I not had to take the dog for a walk!
  2. Can do if you want, one side is a swinging London groovy Geno Washington thing, no great shakes, but the ballad flip is nice.
  3. Anyone else seen it or know what else is on the label? These two tracks later came out on Columbia Bluebeat. Both are soul tracks, one uptempo, the other a very nice jamaican style beat ballad thing
  4. OK very quickly, for your benefit Marc as it obviously means a lot to you, I made some comments about JOHN MANSHIPS PRICE GUIDE on here. They were reported to Tim Brown as being about HIS price guide and he then went on to slag me off to Kev Roberts who informed me that Tim was angry with me about comments made about his price guide, which didn't actually exist. OK?
  5. I could explain to you but I just can't be bothered.
  6. Guess what, I had an Italian version which was the wrong one! Different pic sleeve as well. Sold it to Tim Brown, he sent it back
  7. I'd be interested in that Dave.
  8. Some of the European pic sleeve issues are the 'wrong' version though. That EP is a bootleg that appeared in 1977
  9. They lost the mastertapes to the 'stomping' version and all subsequent reissues have been that lame version.
  10. Swoz we've already had this discussion, just because you paid X amount for something doesn't mean that's the 'true' value, you can't go by auction prices, otherwise Shirley Ellis "Soul Time" CBS demo is apparently worth £183! How many demos have I had, I've had two, and three issues, how many have you had, and what difference does that make?
  11. You want to watch what you say about Tim Brown. There's a sneaky f*cker on here who reports everything back to him, truth or lies.
  12. Just saying - I'd sell you the WD same price as the issue, but having said that, after what happened Friday, I'd now ask £100 for the issue...but maybe still £75 for the demo. I would seriously want at least 3 copies for £250. Then again, I just paid £100 too much for the UK demo so I can't talk.
  13. On the other hand, it's a service I actually DO NOT want to use, so if customers want to use it, then they have to pay for it I'm afraid. I offer several alternatives, I take card payments and I don't charge for that for instance.
  14. I was just thinking that myself. They are anything but a charity.
  15. I'll do it - this is my little boy's favourite record, he was actually playing it this morning...give me 5 mins
  16. Oh yes...and doesn't that have The Avengers theme on the other side?
  17. Never seen that before...but isn't the other one West Coast anyway?
  18. Dave I know Roger very well in fact I had about 300 records off him in december, but 10" tool?? Never heard him called that before
  19. Might be Second City Sound on Major Minor

I've got some old acetate labels, the guy used to send me extra. Get a sheet of A4 adhesive paper and a circular cutter, trace round these labels and you've got yourself a blank adhesive label. Or maybe I should start selling them, quid apiece
  21. You show me how and I'll be happy to implement it
  22. You can contact him via ebay, seller name mlm sales, only trouble is, there's an asterisk in there somewhere like mlm*sales, I can never remember what it is, sorry, I'll try and find it
  23. please PM me if you'd like details, 3 discs, one features rare archive artists footage plus several documentaries, the second and third are all music/tv shows and very rare live footage
