  1. You should be ashamed that you can't respect that other people have opinions different to yours, and that's a fact!
  2. Can't break the news has long peaked and is hard to sell now. Cry No More has the advantage of having a brilliant flip side. I'd ask 50 for each I think. No difference for demo/issue.

Mike, Trojan have repressed the first 10 corwn label 45's including that one, pretty good lookalikes, I bought them - mainly so I could sell my Treasure Isle copy of Loving Pauper. I remember buying that Shirley Kay with no centre for a fiver in the 90's, never liked it though to be honest.

That was quite realistic I thought. Until Sheff Utd scored a goal.

Me too. Best film ever. Even better than A Clockwork Orange.
  7. Well someone offered me £70 for it which I was happy with so I just sold it.

For goodness sake, who cares? It's just a film, it's not real life. I'm going to really look forward to it, whether they use original artists or top of the pops cover versions. You think advertising the name 'Eddie Parker' will attract people to the film? Of course it won't. But the name Paul Weller will. Stop being so precious everyone.
  9. As well as Sweet Sherry, I'd have to add Cigarette Ashes as being equal best track on the label
  10. Yep, sh*t quality
  11. I already did put it down for the worst. I hate those scurrying strings, it's just a mess, and those awful falsetto vocals.
  12. ALL SOLD, MANY THANKS

Nah it's miles better! Incredible that they issued it as an A side in the States (think it made no.1) but it was only ever a B side in the UK.
  14. Thanks everyone. Guess it's time for me to stop giving records away

  19. Johnny Sayles - I Can't Get Enough - St Lawrence. I've always sold this is a cheapie - £20, £25. I'm staggered to see it in the price guide at £150 for the copy I have here (Chess distribution, Chicago address). This is a mint original - so is that £150 price accurate - has anyone ever known a copy sell for that much?
  20. Pete S replied to a post in a topic in All About the SOUL
The play - it's on a 3 hour compilation dvd I used to do
  21. Pete S replied to a post in a topic in All About the SOUL
Yes the BBC play was called Out On The Floor. It starred Rees Dinsdale (think thats right). I am still convinced that this was filmed in the Casino because I can't see how the could have recreated it so accurately. The play is utter crap but the soundtrack - all culled from Grapevine singles and lp's - is very good. Needless to say if anyone wants a copy of this I can supply it.
  22. Possibly the worst seller on ebay, never seen so many negatives, how does he stay on there? 65 negatives and thats just in the last 12 months. Sent me a record which hissed for the first 30 seconds, when I complained he said what do you expect for a 40 year old record... https://toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=thud...by&ref=home
