  1. A bit too "stop/starty" as a dancer for me Pete, but it's nice to have a decent tune on each side. Someone asked about this but hasn't got back so it's available until I find time to eBay it. Godz
  2. oops - Patience? where the fcuk did that come from? Used to make my hair stand up at Wigan. Didn't even realise at the time that it was unissued, I just thought it was a fantastic cover-up. Slightly off subject but it's more ammo to use against the "Wigan was all crap pop" brigade Godz
  3. Blimey - I forgot Little Ann "what Should I Do" aka "When He's Not Around" - Patience Valentine. That's got to be among the best. Godz

Both boots I reckon. Barnett deffo and I'm sure the Twans should have "Distibuted by Atco" at the bottom. Send in the Sourcers Godz
  5. Well Mrs G (who loves this song) just pricked her ears up and said "That's a nice version - I like the different vocal" Godz
  6. Anita Humes maybe? Group being The Essex. Am I even close? Godz
  7. Aren't they strings? Godz
  8. I still get a buzz from some of RCA stuff left in the can. Sharon Scott - "I'm not afraid" and "Lock and Key" Willie Kendrick - She'll be Leaving You" Kenny Carter - "What's That on Your Finger" All great sounds. Can we expect more from this label? Godz

If it's the "More Mirwood" sounding cut it's on one of those "Keep The Faith" LPs on Joy (part of President) issued in the 70s. There was a thread about them a couple of weeks ago. Later rather than earlier though as the Marc issue is 1963 Godz
  10. What about Martin Koppell's discovery: Bob Relf - Reachin' For The Best? Godz
  11. Correct on this one too. You're cookin' today Simon! Godz
  12. Nope. Right sort of era, wrong country. Is yours Ronnie Gaylord Godz
  13. Hey Pete we posted at the same time. And I think our two could be married Godz
  14. Hope I haven't used this before. Only one NS song as far as I'm aware. Who's the lady? Godz
  15. Is there an echo in here?
  16. O'Jays? Godz
  17. It's a Windows Bitmap. I opened in Photoshop ok. Dunno who it is though. Houston Outlaws? Godz
  18. Not if you don't post a pic Godz
  19. Dammit - missed my chance. And I have a real Pearler! Godz
  20. Supremes? Godz
  21. Don't you just hate that phrase! These three are less than mint so I've adjusted the price correspondingly. Laura G is pretty nice though. HB Barnum - It Hurts Too Much To Cry - RCA Issue Wear and abour four noticable scratches but plays well so half price £40 Laura Greene - Moonlight Music In You - RCA Promo One light scuff and a very small edge warp. Still very glossy. Plays just about perfect £85 Jerry Jackson - It's Rough Out There - Parkway Promo Looks worn but it's mostly surface. Light crackle on intro then it plays fine. Half price £100 PM me if interested. £1.60 Recorded Delivery. Payment by Paypal only on these please. Some of the stuff I posted earlier in the week is still available to so I'll post any number for the same price. Thanks, Godz
  22. Correct! some good stories here: https://www.roctober.com/roctober/greatness/cochran.html Over to you then Brett Godz
  23. First clue then. He recorded for King and Chess - amongst other labels. And he was famous for that big white hair. Come on, have a punt. There's no shame in getting it wrong. Just a bit of soul flavoured light entertainment Godz
  24. Quick - PM me for the answer while he's out. Hell never suss... Godz
