Always an annoying one - coming across a nice mint album thats lost its sleeve along the way.....or a sleeve in great shape with hammered vinyl inside, or the wrong LP altogether.... Its a great feeling when your able to marry them up, especially when its a rare piece.... Anyone got a sleeve for this Near Mint Gordy compilation I found over the weekend....u pay the post and its yours......or i'll buy your sleeve..... or how about a nice sleeve for this funk album.....i've been looking for years..... As mentioned.....the two LPs on Bryan.....'Hang On In There' which includes Give It To Me and the phenomenal complete A side (What Have We Done / Where Is The Soul Of A Man? / Hang On In There).........and the highlight on the 'Doin' It Right' album You Put It On My Mind. Both were reissued on Luv n Haight LP or CD. Also love his funky 45 on Zay - The Prophet....not on either LP originally but I think was included on one of the Luv N Haight CDs. Worth checking too his stuff as Bo Kirkland (& Ruth Davis) on Claridge. You're Gonna Get Next To Me, full length LP version, is a Caister classic that Hilly used to 'sing' alternate lyrics over the top...... Cheers Gareth

Don't know him, but like Sean said I was unfortunate enough to buy something from him....took an age to arrive, the day after I started a paypal investigation. And was far from mint as he stated. Played fine so I left him neutral feedback. Aside from the item I won, I had mailed him questioning about a couple of other items he had listed.......including a bootleg of Tony Troutman on Jerri that he had listed as an original. The picture clearly showed the boot copy...... His reply was......that his brother had taken a photo of the wrong copy and he had an original too.....that was the one he was selling. I expected him to either change the photo, or the description ??? he did neither......and amazingly it still went one to fetch the price of an original. I emailed the winner and told him - he was unaware the copy in the photo was a boot.......i've yet to see him leave any feedback...... What problem are you having.....?? Cheers Girth
