WOW what a night, the support last night was fantastic with nearly 200 soulies in the venue from all over the country, From Derby the west Midlands, Mansfield, Chesterfield, liverpool, Wigan, Manchester, Bolton, and not forgetting our northern line soul family from Warrington, And with so much on locally I could not believe it when soulies were starting to come into the venue at 7 o'clock, i can't thank everyone enough for there kind words and support gifts and cards, I feel very blessed to have made so many friends in my life through the northern soul scene and it was very emotional and I was very close to tears, Our guests DJs Ted Massey and Paul Eatough were outstanding, Paul was up first and played an outstanding set of seventies and classic oldies and kept the dancefloor full through out his set outstanding Paul thank you, Next up was Ted what a fantastic set from rare to classic oldies to just fantastic records, every record got the appreciation it deserved, And Ted filled the floor through out his set, Tommy johnson brought our first guest DJ on Paul Eatough and Tommy did so well with a great mix of records, I came on and played my set from classic oldies to modern with a little bit of rare inbetween, i was very close to tears when the last record was played by me but seeing everyone enjoying the record made me smile inside to say job done, So on a personal note I just want to thank everyone for there support over the past 14 years because without you there would have been no northern line so please keep supporting the venue I'll definitely be there next month, So I hope to see you there ktf moz & cheryl Jon & Lynn Carl & julie.

Thanks Carl I'm made up your gonna be there on Saturday, and thank you so much for letting me DJ at kingsway it was an amazing venue full of great friendly soulies who just loved to dance, it was an honour to play there and one venue I'll never ever forget, But has you've said it's now time to retire, see you Saturday ktf moz.

This is gonna be a special night of soul music with two fantastic guest DJ's, Ted Massey and Paul Eatough, Ted and Paul are the country's best DJ's and I feel very privileged to have them on our 14th anniversary, it's been a big decision for me to finally call it a day promoting and dj,ing at the northern line but I think it's now time for me to finally stop, but the northern line will still be going every month on the usual 4th Saturday with new promoters, on a personal note I just wanted to thank the great team I had working so hard behind the scenes that people don't see, Cheryl my wife for her support throughout the14 years, especially with all the tantrums and frustration I had with promting the venue lol, Jon and Lynn Skelham for all the hard work they've put in behind the scenes and the advice over the 14th years you gave me, and julie and Carl Nabokow for all the support and hard work you have both given me, I couldn't have done it without all of your support, and not forgetting the northern line soul family without you there is no northern line we cannot thank you enough your support over the past 14th years, it has been amazing and some times thank you is not enough but thank you for making the the northern line a special place, a big thank you goes to everyone at the Alford club from the manager Lesley Cartledge to all the bar staff for all the hard work, so if your looking to venture out on Saturday 27th then the northern line is the place to be we hope you can make it but if you can't keep safe ktf Moz, Cheryl, Jon, Lynn, Julie, and Carl

This is building up to be a special night with exit 21 Rochdale Masonic hall DJs guesting at the northern line, this is gonna be a a cracker pardon the pun, we hope you can make it ktf moz

Just to let the northern line soul family know we have an extra guest DJ for 28th October Paul Eatough from Burnley and with Pep Pereira this as got the makings of another special night ktf Moz.

What a cracking night we had at north wings, we really enjoyed it and a friendly crowd to everyone made us feel very welcome, and the music was top draw, it was nice to see Andy & Karen from the northern line sorry we didn't get the chance to chat a bit more the night just seem to go very quickly but we'll hopefully see you both at the end of the month ktf moz.

Looking forward to Saturday when we bring you our guest DJ Graham Bickerton from Burnley, I DJ with Graham at kingsway halls on new years eve over in Chesterfield, Graham had the hard task of going on last after everything had been played, Graham came on and he just blew me away with his set I said to myself I've got to get Graham on at the northern line so this is the first chance he had to guest on the northern line so I'm really looking forward to his set and with Dean Mitchell and Tommy Johnson and myself it's got the makings of another special night, and just to let everyone know the Dancefloor is now sorted they've brought in professional cleaners in from Macclesfield to polish the Dancefloor ready for our night, here's a couple of pictures I took today of the Dancefloor ktf

What a cracking night at the rec last night the music was a great mix from classic oldies to modern to rare, a great selection for everyone and the dancefloor was very busy all night there's gonna be some sore feet today a big thanks to everyone involved putting this night together well done ktf moz

This is building up to be another special night at the northern line with special guest DJ Alan king, Alan was our guest DJ last year and he just blew me away with his set, And I was made up he said he would deffinatly come back this year, so the northern line soul family are in for a treat and with Tommy Johnson and Dean Mitchell it's got the makings of another special night so we hope you can make it ktf moz.

OMG how HOT was it last night, but it didn't stop a fantastic crowd of soulies coming to the northern line, with so much on and the weather being so humid it was very humbling to see so many of you brave this hot weather, a massive thank you goes out to each and everyone of you, Our guest DJ on the night Pete Eccles played an absolute fantastic set with a great mix of records and everyone I spoke to said they really enjoyed his set I'm sure without a doubt Pete will be back next year, Tommy Johnson was on first, I've said it before and I'll say it again Tommy is a fantastic DJ and I'm so glad he's one of the resident DJ's at the northern line, Dean Mitchell came on after Tommy, and Dean played another great mix of quality records finishing of with joe Jama my life what a record to finish of your set with, So once again I'd just want to thank each and everyone of you for your fantastic support last night, Our next event is on Saturday July 22nd with guest DJ Alan king from Wigan we hope you can make it ktf moz

WOW what a night at the northern line, I've just started to come down from another special night at the northern line, I just want to thank everyone who supported us last night you were fantastic, there were some new and young dancers in the venue last night and it was great to see, I've said this before but thank you never seems enough to say to amazin people who support us every month but thank you, Our guest DJ on the night Johnny Roberts played a sublime set and kept the dancefloor busy throughout his set he will definitely be back again, Tommy Johnson started the night and played a great early set with some new tunes he's been buying, next up was Dean Mitchell he followed on from Tommy's early set, he turned the burners up and kept the dancefloor busy throughout his set, I filled inbetween and followed on from there great sets, which kept the dancefloor busy, I just want to say sorry to a few people for not getting to chat with you, the night just went so quickly, anyway our next event will be on Saturday 27th may when we bring you two guest DJ's, Pete Everitt from warrington and Ste Thomas from north Wales I can't wait for this one we hope you can make it but if you can't we hope to see you soon ktf moz.
