When i was running a venue i used to have 30min spots and the dj's got 2 spots each.And it gives the guy who's doing the warm up spot a chance later on in the night.

I was going to youth clubs here in Middlesbrough 6 nights a week to hear Northern Soul.All the older guy's were going to Wigan week in week out and bringing all the top tunes back with them and letting the local dj's play them out.
