i never put the two as the same tune,i usually pick up on these things,and now that ive listened to both versions,i would have to go with the sweets,i think the vocal is far superior to sandy's.

for those who dont know the tune!...im defo a fan of this one,b side aint bad either.

i aint got anything,just what i found on youtube,you would have thought there would be video footage of them early weekenders! i also stumbled on video footage of the keele allnighters when they first started in the 80's,they were cracking allnighters !

i was a 19 yr old lad at this weekender,i stood at the front and was amazed by chuck jackson,it was the first time i had seen any artist live! what a cracking weekender and the one after that!

this later press,the sound seems to new and clean,and dont sound as good i reckon

this first press is the same as the acetate,and a much better rare soul sound about it.

i dont know much about other presses/runs....but it does seem as though the first presses of hello stranger seem to be same as the acetate mentioned,and later the version seems to clean and somehow loses that more diy feel about it.

if you compare the acetate to the first press on karen its the same,even though the description on tb's says its different,however when compared to the later press on karen it is different.

i thought it was willie kendricks,the b side to change your ways
