Carl Hall- My Babys So Good
Hi Joan, Am well thanks. Yep great tune and hopefully you'll drop into one of your U.S.O.S. sets when I'm down

Carl Hall- My Babys So Good
Can't remember ever hearing it played by anyone else but I didn't get into the scene 'til around 1994 so perhaps I missed something. Never got the idea that it was "played to death" either? A top tune nonetheless and hopefully I'll get to hear it out if Joan plays it at U.S.O.S. or Andy D somewhere in Scotland. Am fine Steve and hope to see you soon Mate

Carl Hall- My Babys So Good
Played it a few times in the mid-late 90's with very little response, great tune then and still a great tune now, needs spins methinks

Joe Tex - I Wanna Be Free
About 8 years ago (or thereabouts) I had 6 Demo copies - via a mate - to sell, he said to sell them for a tenner each, keep a fiver per copy for myself and reckoned this would go big, I played it every DJ set I played in and around Edinburgh, no one took any notice, sent all but one copy back to my mate 'cos no one took any notice????

Cheers Adam, I actually quite like it and surprised it's not been snapped up, especially at £20, perhaps a little exposure? Got your email and replied David

Dug Up These
Cheers for the info Mate. I found the Ellusions amongst a collection of 45's (5,000 approx) and came across a few Northern things, mostly boots but got a little flutter when I saw the Ellusions, one of my all time faves, I was pretty sure it was a boot but had to make sure. The John McCarthur is a Funk 45 (I think?) and actually quite good. Thanks again. David
