    Hard to price, like you say still finding it's value and only know of three (?) copies. It's actually the flip, the "A" side, forget title off top of my head, got Toad in it is utter shite, and I mean utter shite. Carl offered 2k for his copy.

    I would like to thank Mike Hughes for all his hard work and time in building the site and also for his patience in the run up to the launch.

    Ad45's specialise in vinyl 45's, covering all styles and genres of soul and black music, from Northern, Funk, Deep, Modern, Breaks and R&B - encompassing the 60's through to the 80's.

    All records are categorised into appropriate genres for easy browsing and ordering online, with new titles being added on a regular basis. We pride ourselves on ensuring that all descriptions are accurate.

    You've just missed Gwen Owens ($200ish), El Anthony ($150ish) and Dusty Wilson (gold copy - $350ish) on ebay. George Kirby turns up fairly regularly, they seem to make about $400. Manship has the Mary Lou Williams @ £300, but I'd wait a bit - it's bound top turn up on ebay. I think he also has Carl Underwood, but that's reserved for auction. Certainly a 'crazy' priced record - would be surprised it so sell for less than £1000.

    Been two copies of El Anthony on ebay last couple of weeks, both f***** :thumbsup:

    Chalky how are you young man, apologies about dashing on Friday but was late and hate getting on bus while speaking on mobile (think its an age thing!)

    Any chance of the Jimmy Burns mp3 also (and the other side if you have it), one of the ones I let go but want back, desparately!!

    About a £100.

    I think Patti Hamilton is the same Patti as "Patti and the Lovelites" who recorded a version of 'Love bandit' on cottilion. furthermore, I suspect that Patti Hamilton is also Kenya Collins , as vocaly, listening to the two versions they are very similar.

    You're right Trevski, Patti Hamilton is Patti from the Lovelites. Decent record, all being well will be at the Wilton to listen to it and others from you.

    You forgot to mention Patti Austin :thumbsup: Listen to her Coral output. As a mere 15/16 year old she is up there with the best. She is the best IMO, better than any you mention.

    As for todays singers competing with those from years gone by, well I hardly listen to todays music so can't really compare.

    Badly trying to track down a tune, a Butch spin.  Think it may ba called "We Need Love". Male vocal but very high pitched in places, wailing "come on and take my hand baby-----come on and understand baby - we need love love love".

    That's as much as I know.  Anymore info as the artist - title would be greatfully received.
