I Saw You last Night which Colin found in States, I covered as Valerie Simpson and it was monster for him, have heard this is getting a few spins now.

The Rainbows used to get spins from Steve Smith around the original Bretby years.

Ella Washington had some spins at Stafford. Other side great deep soul. Came out on Atlantic too I think.

  7. i have just remebered an awesome sound of 2004.

The Condors ' let me down easy'

I think I may have let the cat out of the bag here because the only DJ's I have heard play this out is Ginger and my mate (on soul source - not sure if he wants is identity revealed. he may read this and own up to having one?)

I also think that Ginger is still covering it up and I have revealed the title and artist. He is not very tall but quite stocky so I better be careful!  :D

    Fantastic record!! :D

The biggest one I passed up was at Bradford Queens Hall, Tina Roberts One Way Or The Other (Security). Pete Lawson offered it to me for either £60 or £100 yes.gif can't remember which. Try finding one now :D

Was happy though at the time with what I'd spent my money on so can't grumble :D

  11. I've just been on e-bay to "ave a look" at this & the price is up to

£3250.00.  Also the high bidder is a North Wales DJ/Collector.  As to

there being 3 known copies, does this include the one Pat Brady had.

I beleive he sold it to a Foreign collector.

                                                              Regards to all Ritchie.

    :D

  12. I always love nothing more than to buy Belgian Popcorn records!

If Stax is reading this then he should be aware that there are a lot of people in England that have had bad experiences with  belgian record dealers (probably just 1 person)

We are now understandably nervous of dealers from Belgian!

I deal with: Michel Scarpone, Fillipo Puzzo and Marcel Meersman who are all fantastic!

Maybe you could tell us which eBay identity you sell under so that people could check your feedback?

    Jodie  (Popcorntastic!)

    link

If I'm wrong I apologise but haven't a few people suffered at the hands of Michel Scarpone?

  13. Clamike is part of the o-gee set up --gladys- od jamison etc--ila van did a cracker on this label called  what you mean to me  clamike 502

    link

Well O-Gee is a New York label so presume Clamike the same whistling.gif

  14. sorted

    link

Is it? Was that said in irony or in jest? He or she still hasn't said who they are. I certainly wouldn't buy a record from some on line stranger with one post behind them and Belgiums reputation for sellers isn't up there with the best now is it whistling.gif
