Billy Butler/right Track/okeh 7245
You're Right, I do. I was just looking at the JZSP, ZSP & the copy with SP. (Printers error?) perhaps the first copies after the DEMO run and someone forgot to change the Matrix to ZSP.

Hi Sean Thanks, I've often wondered what happened with the release and why It was withdrawn from sale.

Billy Butler/right Track/okeh 7245
Right Track - Billy Butler - I happened to notice the JZSP on the Right Track Stock Copy, I have noticed this before on the Soul A Go-Go Stock Copies below. The Thing is; The one on the left has --------.-"JZSP115388-1D" Stamped in the Deadwax, and has ZSP115388 on the Label Whereas the one on the right has "ZSP115388-1B" Stamped in the Deadwax, and has JZSP115388 on the Label The complete opposite I have seen a White DEMO - But these are Stock Copies & the "J" DENOTES A demo normally ? Anyone else noticed this ? Strange ain't it I'm not suggesting either are rare, from my experence, quantities of each type are available.

O'jays Lp Price
When I first saw the thread, I thought it was about this one. This is their Bell Label Output though, and is on a Silver Label, so possibly re-Issue too?

Rare 45s
Yes, I know that it isn't one of the big rarities, but it can be a Minefield. A big rarity could be a DEMO where the Stock Copy is easy to find, or Stock Copy where the DEMO is easier to find. One recent case was Ric-Tic RT-122 on a White DEMO, Incredibly RARE, The only one that I have seen, and yet it only fetched £82 at Auction. >>> LINK <<< Not really Mavericks Original Question I know, because the question was Intended for Big money records. Sometimes though RARE doesn't necessarily equate to Value. Anyway back to the Big Money Rarities.

Showstoppers - Ain't Nothing But A House Party
Every home should have a copy of The Show Stoppers Ain't Nothing But A House Party / What Can A Man Do ?? and possibly at some time has. Whichever Label it is on, It is one of those records that helped to create this wonderful scene, Never gonna be a big bucks tune, However, Imagine if only a handful existed. Both are Top Tunes, definitely Value for money.

Showstoppers - Ain't Nothing But A House Party
Hi Malc, Hi Dave, Well, based on hearsay, and this >>> Link <<< I asked this very Question, back in January 2007. Possibly not if you follow this >>> Link <<< Thanks also for Information on the Party Time DEMO's, I have seen The Four Perfections on a Yellow Party Time DEMO, but I've never seen a Show Stoppers Party Time DEMO.

Showstoppers - Ain't Nothing But A House Party
Hi Mel Definitely, "Let's Copp A Groove" is a Classic and one of my favourites, I am suprised though that at the time the US Catalogue for both Romur & Party Time / Showtime wasn't considered for a couple more releases on Beacon which would have brought us "Be's That Way Sometimes" & "I'm Not Strong Enough".

Showstoppers - Ain't Nothing But A House Party
Hi Tony Thanks for the Information, I have often wondered how close we came to some of the other records like The Four Perfections "I'm Not Strong Enough" or Bobby Wells "Be's That Way Sometimes" being Issued In the U.K. In the 60's. The Yellow Beacon does have the Frankford /Wayne, Stamp, Paul Dunns copy too. However so do my Party Time, Show Time and Guyden copies. Seem to think that there are boots around on Show Time though, possibly Styrene?

Showstoppers - Ain't Nothing But A House Party
Wasn't there a Story somewhere that this recod was Originally picked up for release on Beacon, after being heard quite by chance in the States by a record exec/producer.

Showstoppers - Ain't Nothing But A House Party
Hi Simon I'm Not Too Sure on Prices, but none are extremely Expensive. Here are probably only half of them, If you count the Green Beacon, Cream, Collectables etc The Party Time Label is possibly the Rarest Format, To Date I haven't seen a Party Time DEMO although I'm sure that It should exist, and the Yellow Beacon harder than the Red & White Swirl Beacon In My Experience. Not to forget of course the Incredible B Side "What Can A Man Do??"

Tomangoes
The Grapevine Single, even though it was withdrawn shortly after release, is an official release. I'm not sure why this was alegedly dubbed from a record, when Gino Washington had re-issued it, or were they also dubbed from a disc. Do master Tapes still Exist for The Tomangoes?

Ztsc On Ric Tic & Golden World Records
Hi Ray Thanks, but thanks to Dave Flynn's >>> Anoraks Corner <<< I think that the following Revilot sums it up regarding the Scratched / Stamped Matrix for these releases. The Pink Darrell Banks having both on the same record. I have these in my collection. All are Styrene, All bought from Soul Bowl --<-- Both Have STAMPED in Matrix A & B Side --<-- Both Have Scratched in Matrix A & B Side The Grey Label was the first Issue However, This copy --<-- STAMPED in Matrix A & Scratched in Matrix B Side I hope that this helps
