Do they play disco in the main rooms? I know they play a smattering of modern etc,, but at least if they have a motown room it will be a refreshing change.

I dare not get up and dance (was a very naive seventeen year old!) didn't think I could compete with the regular casino gooer's!! they all seemed soooo good!!!...I do like a good old dance now though! How About A Motown Room?
There are many venue's that offer more than one room.. but would anyone be interested in a room that played tamla classics (not needle in a haystack!) and the odd bit of club soul? I know I would!! . Just thought I'd ask this as I'm curious as to what others think. (From Mrs Dospan ; aka; Kaz)

Sounds That Bring A Tear To The Eye
There's some real tear-jerker's listed on this thread! For me it has to be Willie Parker - Don't hurt the one you love. (always brings a golf ball size lump to my throat) For Mr Dospan..far too many to mention!!!

Best Dancers
I have to say "Kaz" from Bradford and Dave Bacon (can't remember where he's from) could be from South Yorks..or somewhere near!

Youngsters On The Scene
Hear..Hear!! Totally agree with you. I myself have been the victim of ciggie burns and it hurts a lot!! also been unfortunate to fall (cringe!) on a beer spilt floor (quite a few times..ooh the shame!) although only my pride was hurt.

Hi. Just been looking at pic of Andy Simpson, cant have been a few months ago..he looks just the same as he did when he was 17!!. Does he live in australia? if not if you see him ask him if he remembers Steve Ridealgh from the Ducchess pub Sackville street bradford.. and has he still got my Gene Chandler rec (title)I can take of myself! (on black/green action). Thanx. Steve- Soulful Youth
Really appreciate your reply, its good to know they are still on the scene. I haven't seen these lads since the 1970s!, it would be great to see them again. Anyway, thanx and if you hear owt else (or know anyone who hears owt) would you let me know?. Much appreciated. Steve- Soulful Youth
Is there anyone out there who used to frequent the 'cont'/hole in the wall (on godwin street bradford) approx 1968-1970?. Or did you ever go to the L'Ambassador (bradford same sort of time), Lord Jims huddersfield?. Be nice to catch up with some of the crew that knocked about. If you remember Steve from the Ducchess pub (sackville street bradford) then get in touch. Also, does anyone know the whereabouts of Yogi and Reggie from Hemel Hempstead? They used to go to wigan (1973-1976ish) and they used to bring maggie back up to bradford when she had no lift. Be nice to hear from these lads or anyone who knows them. Cheers. - Soulful Youth
