Joe Bataan - Subway Joe / Chica Especial (Special Girl) - Doremi Peru VG/ VG- £100 Ultra rare Peruvian press of two of Joe's most classic and beloved sides here! The bad first: Not the greatest pressing quality on these, though very playable with the highs cut and mids and bass boosted a bit. Labels rinsed and lots of marks present on the wax, but surprisingly strong playing and I've been able to spin it out with no issue many many times. The Good: These are seriously rare! Singing Sammy Ward - Hard To Get Over / River Of Tears (Renaissance 76) VG £175 Banger alert! Soul Sam's former "Fast Steppin' Eddie" c/u and still an oh-so rare disc to find, blinding uptempo funky modern soul here. This copy has clean labels with some scattered scuffs and hairlines which cause the odd tick and a more persistent one on the last few seconds of lead-out. Generally speaking, this plays far better than its grade and is great for playing out.
