Not just a soul night , a social gathering, soul music for all tastes, reminds me of Hucknall & Linby miners welfare back in the 70tys , what a venue that was ! I'm ready now !

I'm surprised I've actually woke up this morning, thought I'd died & gone to northern soul heaven last night ! Absolutely awesome ,very good crowd in attendance, think most of them were in agreement, wow , hope there's a niter soon . You dj's take a bow & tag some of the tunes you played please 🙏 I dont have time to make lists my feet are too busy , & don't have the mental ability to remember either , thank you , I'm gone , for a run around the park , Martin x

Barn storming night , dj's defo inspired me to dance ! Could easily have stayed in tbh takes a big effort now days to lace up my dancing shoes , & I'm not a regular here , gets a bit busy for me & I'm always getting in someone's way ! Sorry about that ,hope the peeps that bounced off me are OKEH ! Definitely recommend this place if you haven't been before great atmospheric venue , see yous around x

Wow what a rip roaring soul storming nite , the best since moving from Creepers , peeps queueing at the door before they opened . Dj's got it spot on , very impressed with dodgy Dave perfect spot to start off, set the standard for Dave Dee & Micky & Rob to follow . Knew it was gonna be good when I saw the Legendary Steve Hinds walk in & the Lass from Sheffield sorry duck I don't know your name but you are a brilliant dancer , your dad sez your off to Blackpool well you will nail the dance comp no worries . I'm knackered big breakfast for me ,then off to record fair in Nottingham , then City Ground. Thanks Mal keep it going ktf ! Ureds!

True though mate your nites are not just soul nites they are social events , what's the average attendance so far 220 ? Just coming out for a good time no bull just happy to keep on keeping on . Be young be foolish but be happy , stays with you forever don't it ?

Very well attended seems like people voting with their feet & a great range of soul tunes played out , up tempo mid tempo & some pure soul , congratulations to all concerned, its a winning formula . Yous is gonna need a bigger car park at this rate ! X

Great night now to be known as OKEH Lodge for one night a month awesome venue , lovely people just out to keep on keeping on , unlike a lot of soul do's you will hear quite a lot of motown here , the northern kind . Its what the crowd want & me tbh , nearly two hundred attending , so Malc you doing it right ✅️

I'm big fan of Stylistics seen them many times ,so heads up on this one ' she did a number on me ' it's on utube & an album track from The Mountain ,Herb Murrell on lead & I know from conversations it's been played out .

Storming old school night here , last time I was encouraged to ask for tunes I would like to hear so here goes . Can one of you dj's take me back 50yrs to Nottinghams Intercon club & play Donald Heights' Rags to Riches 'the one on Honey or Avco 👌 How about a later 70tys one Sidney Joe Qualls' I don't do this ' not heard it played for ages .
