Just wanted some advice. Someones offered me a copy of this but it aint cheap and i have actually never had one. It books in Manships guide for £2000 howvever i have had people tell me it is not going for that and it is about £500. Just got these top rarities in Moses Dillard & the dynamic showmen - I'll pay the price - Mark V - EX (The lightest of marks - nearly new) £750 Massive oldie thats always been rare. Moses Dillard & the dynamic showmen - Pretty as a picture - Mark V - M- (Looks virtually brand new) £650 Equally as rare but just a shade under "I'll pay the price" in the musical quality stakes. The Tropics - Hey little girl - Topic - F £450 When I aquired the above 45 from Los Angeles in 1994 it was found on the garage floor of this record dealer we visited. In its trip from North Carolina to California it had obviously seen some hard times as it looks really rough. However I think thats from being out of the sleeve rather than from being overplayed so the grooves were not worn. Its taken me 17 years to find a nicer one to replace it which shows how rare it is. Only other copy I've ever seen for sale was Andy Dyson's at the Dome and that must be 6 - 8 years ago. The record plays well - it does crackle but no skips and I'd put a £1000 on a mint one so price is reflected in the condition. As for the tune - Awesome !!! thanks Rob

Just to let people know more about my Krystal radio show It goes out live every Friday from 6 to 8 pm (GMT) then that Fridays show is recorded and played at 6 - 8pm every day till the next Friday So its on at 7-9pm in mainland Europe, 1-3pm in Chicago, 1-3am in Western Australia, etc EVERY DAY !!! So if anyone needs any clubs mentioning or requests for bithdays or whatever let me know. You can email the studio any time at studios@krystalradio.net and I can pick up any info before the show (or email me personally) If I'm plugging an event it has to be at least 8 days in advance otherwise its out of date before we record the next show. Hi I only just read these posts and I gotta say I agree with Matt Bolton. I dont get out as much as I used to and when I do its usually the same old songs you hear - but this one had me running to the decks to find out what is was - I was knocked but by its sheer energetic force. It may not be the most perfect "soul" record but its passionate an truthful. I'm glad its been re-issued as what chance now of an original ?? Good one guys. Then it gets bootlegged (or perhaps an official release) in the UK on Satiron in what - 1979 ? Is that the full story ? Hi all Need some help on this one. I got a list off Shifty the other day. There is Milton Wright - The Gallop - Karen white demo Mint - Now I know the flip is "Like a rolling stone" which is a tune I like and want so I bought it. I get it through whack it on the deck and its the instrumental. Bollocks ! There is no mention in the guide of it being either a vocal or instrumental so I need the following help please 1. Is the vocal issued or unissued ? 2. If so what label is it on ? Vocal on the stock copy maybe ? 3. Anyone have a copy for sale ? 4. Anyone want to buy this white demo I have of the Gallop ???
