A legendary dj once called a taxi for Earnest Moseley over the mike when it cleared the dancefloor at Burnley many years ago. probably the only time that ever happened. If I had to choose between the two, well I was brought up on Mr Moseley but I can see why a young whipper snapper like Simon would choose the latter.

Here's another record from the back of the box that I think qualify's as lesser known & underplayed, whenever I played it in the Kenwood Suite, Bury Town Hall it seemed to get the nod of approval from the connoisseurs of good soul and hopefully one for the Ashton Ukrainian club this Saturday.

Yes Mick, great choice still sounds brilliant. I was just checking the play box for potential spins to fit the remit of lesser known, rare & underplayed soul and this one definitely fits the bill. Jesse Slaughter "I had a dream" what a record.

When Soul Sam DJ'd at Culcheth last time he played The Timeless Legend to a packed dancefloor. We know it can be played in either room but will it. Just for fun will it be A, Played in 1 room, B Played in both rooms C Played in neither room. You'll have to be there to find out.

Clarence Murray "Let's get on with it" a Culcheth anthem if ever there was one, ever since the move from Lowton Civic this record has been a favourite for DJ's Mick & Les and I'm sure it will be a popular choice for Lowton's 25th anniversary. WHOOSH to the dancefloor.
