A brief intro...
Well I have been into soul music since about 1975 and started collecting soulful 45's back then. Spent my youth in various soul clubs including Wigan Casino, Yate, Stafford, Birmingham Locarno to name just a few. I now promote several soul nights and weekend events with my partner in crime Lee Vowles.We now run a Facebook group called soul on wax with over 1,400 soulful members and run the St Ives Weekender and Newquay soul weekend in Newquay...... I also spin a few soul tunes at various soul clubs .
