Taxie: Dance (previously unissued) - Epsilon Record Co EPS022
Taxie: Dance (previously unissued) - Epsilon Record Co EPS022 Back in May 2022 I was lucky enough to travel to California in search of new sounds for Epsilon Record Co. After meeting up with my good friend Steve Fuji (engineer extraordinaire, originally from LA). I arranged to meet up with Woody Whittaker Ronnie Arch Wayne Chatman & his wife Loma They are from the incredible band called T.A.X.I.E (Talented Artist Xclusively In Entertainment). It was an exciting experience! These three guys performed many engagements through out the Los Angels Hollywood circuits. Opening and appearing with renowned artist such as Stevie Wonder, Dennis Edwards, and the Mary Jane Girls. The members of T.A.X.I.E. are not only great musicians and performers, but also very talented and awesome songwriters. I had the chance to hear some of their unissued tracks for the first time and struck a deal with them for this second project for my label with these two amazing tracks, Dance & Taxie Band. I hope that you will like them as much as I do. Two perfect tunes to cool you down for what seems to be a really hot summer 2023! OUT NOW! Pre-Order: Ches Haynes and The Outfits & The Creators - Stream Records
2 New 45s from Stream records Ches Haynes and The Outfits cat # STR009 - 7"/45rpm Please Don't Go b/w Instrumental (Previously Unissued) 250 Limited Pressing Bundle Available With The Creators (see below) Pre-order now (ships July 23) https://cannonballsoul.com/streamrecords/ Ches Was born in Barbados, and from that faraway small group of islands comes this outstanding piece of Caribbean Soul. Like many of the artists we love, Ches had his fair share of travels and troubles. He dedicated his whole life to music pursuing that ideal of living by the dream we all keep sticking to when it comes to soul music. After the teenage years spent listenting to the sound of the American Black Music legends of the times, whose frequencies made it to the radio stations in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, he decided to pack up and go big studying music in New York City thus finding he was gifted with songwriting, where he always puts soul, jazz and a touch of reggae music. Wirl label (West Indies Record Ltd.) was his recording home with which he released a number of tunes both solo and with his band The Outfits. He then traveled far and wide, spending a couple of years in Canada (another proof of Canada’s music industry solid ties with the sound from the islands), eventually ending up where Funk Investigators’ patrol member Yann Vatiste has found him and secured the license for this release. Stay tuned for more tales about this man, he might be closer to you than you think. The Creators cat # STR010 - 7"/45rpm "I Can't Believe It's True" Mono / Stereo 250 Limited Pressing Bundle available with Ches Haynes (see above) "I cant believe its true" is a great uplifting Modern Soul tune produced, written and published by Gospel music veteran and Coconut record label owner Pastor Dr. Arris D. Wheaton from Dallas, Texas. He's now 77 years old, still kicking and licensing his stuff to respectful little labels like Stream Records. Counting on the vocals of Bobby Patterson’s of Pama and Jetstar labels fame, “I can’t believe it’s true” is a dancefloor destroyer of the highest order with perfect hooks and a production that still leaves you wondering why in the world these guys didn’t become acclaimed music stars as they sure deserved. Creators’ formation included Bobby Patterson (vocals), Andrew Jones (Guitar and background vocals), Timothy McNealy (Tambourine, Trombone, Organ and vocals), Ronnie Brewster (Drums), Robert (bobby) Simpson (Sax, Vocals and Band Leader), Billy ‘Sweet ‘Pea Thomas (Trumpet) and Michael Fugett (Bass and background vocals)

- Epsilon Record Co. latest Californian re-releases EPS021 Bobby Baker & EPS020 Dana V Andrews
Two brilliant instrumental b side- Epsilon Record Co. latest Californian re-releases EPS021 Bobby Baker & EPS020 Dana V Andrews
Bobby Baker The late Bobby Baker originally from College Park Georgia, was an original member of the American rhythm and blues band The Coasters formed in 1955. He sadly passed away in Feb 2022. Bobby was hired by Dana V Andrews & David Futch (originally from Detroit Co-owner of Davida Inc & founder of Gospel Label Futch Music Record with his brother Josh) with an amazing group of musicians including the incredible Patrice Rushen for this project. ‘Everything Has Got To Be Alright’ Is an ultra rare Gospel Crossover Funky Soul 45 and it’s by far the rarest on Davida Inc records Dana V Andrews Dana V Andrews is a man who is still very much in love with music of all types. At 23 years old and far from living a perfect life, his love of music led him to go to Los Angeles, California in 1973 with a talented songwriter in search of fame and fortune. Dana played a role while working on a song and album that was a big hit for the now deceased Mr. Barry White. In 1975 he met David Futch and together they formed a record and publishing company that recorded R&B and Gospel music DAVIDA RECORDS. One of the gospel Groups, the Highland Park Community Choir out of Highland Park, Michigan had a song nominated for a Grammy Award in 1976. That same year, Dana V. Andrews recorded two songs titled “Mr. Justice” because he was distressed by the social injustice he saw and still sees in our world. His humble hope was that “Mr. Justice” could be a rallying call for the majority of good people in the world. To unite and vote for responsible, fair, politicians who had helping the people foremost in their hearts. And “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” because he had faith that eventually right will win out over wrong. He still does to this day. He still believes today that when the majority of people stand for righteous justice with genuine love leading the way that governmental bipartisanship will defeat hate, prejudice, and injustice.- Epsilon Record Co. latest Californian re-releases EPS021 Bobby Baker & EPS020 Dana V Andrews

EPS019 RENALDO DOMINO & THE ORIENTATIONS A: I Love My Girl (2:36) B: I'm Hip To Your Game (2:33) Chicago IL 1967 Buy it now: https://www.epsilonrecord.com Renaldo Domino Chicago Soul Legend Born March 27th 1950) from “The Valley” around 49th & Forestville Renaldo Domino blasted onto the fertile Chicago soul scene of the late 60's with a voice as sweet as sugar and deep grooves that sound just as fresh five decades later. Releasing singles on Mercury subsidiaries Smash and Blue Rock, and later Twinight records, Renaldo’s all-too-brief career has still managed to leave an impact to all those lucky enough to hear it. Domino's Renaldo first record: I Love My Girl & I'm Hip To Your Game, came out in 1967 on the impossible to find Arnell records. I'm Hip To Your Game was later released on Smash in 1969 Renaldo returned to the spotlight in 2007 when the Chicago reissue powerhouse Numero Group put him on the cover of their deluxe box set Eccentric Soul: Twinight's Lunar Rotation (which included other greats Syl Johnson, The Notations, and many more). Renaldo’s performing career began to flourish once again with shows around country. In early 2019 Renaldo teamed up with producer Jeremy Kay and arranger JB Flatt and set out to record new tracks that would live up to Renaldo’s great early records. Assembling a crack team of Brooklyn’s best they pulled out all the stops, creating a mix between the lush arrangements of Chicago’s early soul style and the hard-hitting beat of current Brooklyn soul. The new single “No Laggin’ & Draggin’” / “Give Up The Love”, released Feb 2020, is now available on Colemine Records. Backed by The Heavy Sounds, Renaldo’s live performances continue to deliver with passion and precision, making new fans young and old. I proudly re-released two remastered version of I'm Gonna Get Ya on Epsilon EPS003 on February 28, 2021. I have built a real friendship with these two fantastic guys and musicians. It was Alfie & Ken's dream to one day be able to get back in the studio and record more music and who knows one day get back on stage together. So I decided to make it happen and financed the whole project. I booked M.V.P studio (owned by my good friend El Willie aka William Travis from Nobody's Children) in West Palm Beach FL, who organised the entire session and booked studio musicians for this project. Alfie headed to Jacksonville FL to meet Ken for a week of rehearsal and lots of brandy. They travelled to meet El Willie for a one day session and recorded these two amazing tracks. Now their success is in your hands Please show your appreciation and support their brand new music Yann Vatiste Epsilon Record Co.- News: New 45s Cannonball Records and Tesla Groove - Leon Cook & Gillespie and Co
