  10. On June 16, 2015 Mighty Sam McClain died 72 years old. Just months before he managed to record an album, «Tears of the World», together with the Norwegian blues artist, Knut Reiersrud. From this album they released 300 copies of Mighty Sam MacClains last 45 with a great version of «Tears of The World» on one side and MacClains own tune «Friend» on the other. It's for sale here: https://shop.klicktrack.com/kkv/release/year

  15. Does anynone know how much a 45 did cost in 1970 (-73) in the US?
  16. Thanks Lars. Billboard, of course!
  17. Thanks a lot again, just what I needed.
  18. Thanks a lot Roburt for a informative answer, just what I needed. Follow up: Do you have an idea of how this hired studios worked, was that a kind of business to run a studio for hiring, was it normal, could you find it in a normal sized city?
  19. Over the years I've seen loads and loads of different soul labels. Many of these released maybe only one 45 and has been described as a "private label". What does that mean? Did there exist studios where you could record a song and then release it on your own label?
  20. I'm looking for a (vinyl) copy of Smithstonians "Mississippi mud". Issue only.
  21. Nothing from Adav90, so I'll keep this.
  22. I have a original (Ex+/M-) that I might let go for the right trade.
  23. Still looking. I'll pay good money
