I'm in the process of clearing my mum and dad house and they have some beautiful at least 1950s bedroom furniture they are too nice to throw away and if anyone would like them they are free but would need collecting and dismantling in barnsley and I have friends who would help at this end let me know by pm if interested Cheers yocky

For sale a lovely 1950s lp(12inch) record cabinet carved wood was used by my mum and dad for 78s in the 60s would be nice with turntable on top in nice condition for year top as a stain free pick up in barnsley Cheersyocky

Sad news I was lucky enough to meet both tommy and mandy at a friend's wedding years ago and spent 2 hours talking about his life and music a true gentleman highlight for me painthorpe country club 2002 tommy and Sidney barnes singing together on stage condolences to all Tommy's family great man Yocky

Just got to second what fitzi said the weekend was fantastic in both mine and mandys opinion apart from 2018 (when we got married)) the best one yet all the rooms buzzing I even popped my head in the modern room and music was top notch 3 things that made it for me and mandy was fun fun fun like it used to be I heard loads of records I didn't know a load of new faces asking names of tunes then requesting them next night to dance even had a couple of dances myself (george pepp) the only downside was when fitzi played the jersey weekend last record then 4 days of pure escapism was over till next year looking forward to seeing you all next year take care Atb yocky and mandy 👍 Ps thank you to everyone for taking time to ask me regarding my health situation it was lovely x- 19 comments

Hi just going through my mum and dad's wardrobe and in the early 70s we used to wear suits double breasted 36inch bottoms ticket pockets on both trousers and jacket 6 pockets on jacket zips on waist bands lovely post wheel type suits Trousers 32 inch waist jacket 44inch chest Absolutely lovely suit (tailor made) If anyone interested I would love someone to wear it and own it all I want is postage or pick it up in barnsley free let me know Cheers yocky

Just to add to fitzi post the food and accommodation is 2nd to none fantastic selection for breakfast and dinner Also every afternoon thur/fri/sat sun we have open box afternoon 12till 4ish were if you fancy bringing a few records over and you fancy a go nows your chance and we are there to help you with equipment and support and very little restriction on what you play eg modern underplayed northern club soul ska RnB and don't worry about filling the dance floor that's not what the afternoon sessions are about (don't worry if you do lol ) looking forward to seeing you all in Jersey Yocky and mandy- 19 comments

Really looking forward to coming back to the festival on Saturday got to be one of the most friendliest venue on the circuit meeting up with a load of the jersey soul family over for the weekend and staying in a luxurious 5 star accommodation with my mate Toby see you all Saturday and don't forget if it's in the box it gets played safe journey everyone and hopefully see you Saturday Yocky and mandy ktf
