Sorry should go to Denbo Hi Dave I've found that if you place the record somewhere in the centre of the deck and start spinning it you can see the position of the intro groove, you can reposition the record slightly so that it spins equally, it's a ball ache I know but with a little practice it works Cheers Dave Ive

Hi Dave Well let's try and sort out your query Black label British releases 501 to about 1050 roughly 550 singles Then you can double this if you want to include Demo's From around 1050 to 1446 ish are on blue motown when the company moved to LA, and same again double this if you want to include demo's and 12inch releases Roughly 501 to 1446, 945 British releases This is not including Stateside, Tamla, Motown, Soul, Gordy, VIP, Mowest, demo's it's quite a long list with many variations Hope this helps Dave

Hi Steve Sorry to hear you were unsatisfied with the evening and the music policy and they didn't live up to your expectations. I understand you would like to hear some underplayed and rarer tunes but unfortunately that empties the dance floor. We only want people to come and have a good night out, which you can on our dance floor as it's the best in the area and does not need talc. We endeavour to play what people ask for and not slip into the jaunre and snobbery that surround some Northern Soul DJs Dave
