  9. not illegal at all, as pete quite rightly stated its well within ebay's policies that you can withdraw an item from sale

  12. odd ????? she looks lika a cambodian orphan
  13. I WAS REFERING TO THE FACT THAT THE RECORD IS ALMOST IDENTICAL TO THE VELVELETTES (A 5 QUID RECORD), YET PEOPLE ARE PREPARED TO FORK OUT 500 QUID FOR BLUE SHARKS, YES, I KNOW ITS A RARE PIECE BUT ITS CERTAINLY NOT £495 QUID BETTER THAN THE VELVELETTS, BUT, I SUPPOSE ITS THINGS LIKE THIS THAT MAKE THIS SCENE OF OURS SO UNIQUE
  14. were not questioning the validity of the record, just trying to establish the true identity of the artist,
  15. you're right mick, my mistake, banner man on the green one, these things is on the blue one.....
  16. as is usually the case, all this info comes to light too late, in the 80's heinz burt who was in the tornados & also a native of southampton worked at british rail alongside dave greet, unfortunatley he died a few years ago, after the tornados disbanded he combined his railway career with session work, he could have played on the blue sharks for all we know
  17. kenny my boy...we are both on the money here, ive just been on the blower to my old mucker, charlie, in southampton, he'sgot a blue sharks & the album....."banner man" & "these things..." are note for note identical.... as jim royal would say......blue sharks....my arse....... half italian..half swiss....my arse there ya go.....for all those that knock the soul police.......well, a case has been solved
  18. banner man is on the same album, forgot to mention that,...too much of a coincidence think they did 3 plexium albums in total
  19. right, im with you now, the plexium album by the mike morton congragation, just phoned my mate who's got a copy of the album, he says its exactly the same as the blue sharks , also the alan caddy that you mentioned was involved in making those buget cover version records that you used to get in supermarkets in the 60s & 70s, which ties in with the italian supermarket promotion that was mentioned earlier
  20. glad that amused you ken, so, i'm assuming youve got some information regarding the nationality & identity of the group, do tell, dont keep it to yourself
  21. does anybody know anything about the blue sharks ? were they an italian group ? also is the version of "these things" on the motown chartbusters album (the one with the big spider / bug fellow on the cover) a different take with different words to the 45 release ?
  22. and you believed him ???.......come on kev, kenny looks nothing like duke browner
  23. darlene love - lord if youre a woman - phil spector int 12in one sided promo tenner inc post
  24. apollas - mr creator - warner bros visually grades vg- plays fine...i bought this in rimini earlier this year, just taken delivery of a better condition copy, i paid 50 euros for it, which works out about £35, so if anyone wants it its 35 quid inc post
