I've got the same problem with some records in the collection (and a lot of other collectors too probably). I also have Shures but I'd be surprised if the records played without the noise if played with $20000 needles.

So if someone goes on selling a lookalike boot of - say - 'Heartaches & Pain' on Sunstruck without mentioning it's a boot and the auction fetches £300 you would say it's the buyer's fault for being ignorant and not the seller's fault although he failed to provide some pretty vital details about the record? If a shop down the street opens up selling fake Armani clothes without mentioning they are fake I wonder how long it would take before the shop owner ends up being fined/put to jail...

I'm not sure either, haven't found out how to remove the unpaid item strike yet... Anyway, I've dealt with guys like this many times before, so I'm not getting thngs like this ruin my mood (anymore). Nope... and I think the date written on the label (1976) might give a better idea of when approximately it was pressed. So I guess there must have been some kind of demand for that one around that time. It's not really deep soul though is it, so can anyone guess how it ended up being pressed up over there?

After the auction ended I was informed that this is the bootleg (and I only buy original records). If you're still after one I've got a spare copy but bafore I sell I wanted to make sure whether this is a legit copy... I have found two copies of this one over the years, and both copies were found in or near Amsterdam, which leads me to believe that this might be a Dutch press. But I don't know whether it's a legit one or not (the small print on the left hand side doesn't look very sixties to me). Can anyone shed some light on this? Great tune indeed by the way. Good to see it's starting to get the recognition it deserves!

The ones on the label I know are: Mr. Clean and The Soul Inc. - Hey Love / Bet He Don't Love You - Radio City 500 Janis & Prince - Patricia (here I come) / Love and devotion - Radio City 1005 Mr. Clean and The Soul Inc. - Go Away Little Girl / What's Going On - Radio City 1007 Which means that there's a few gaps left to be filled...

Records on this label always seem very hard to find and I haven't found a discography of the label anywhere... I own a few 45s on the label, so if no one's got a discog we should try to compile one ourselves. Who's up for this?

A topic for all you anoraks out there (you know who you are ). On some releases artist names, titles and some label names were spelt backwards. I always had a soft spot for these releases for some strange reason. Examples are... Eivets Rednow Naatab Yobyalps (?!) The Nosnibor label Can anyone think of any more?
