Yay, got ripped off again... Bought a Rose Battiste, thinking it was an original, but when it arrived I immediately saw it was the boot, so I sent this mail to the seller: "Received the Rose Battiste 45 but it's a boot (and obviously I was after the original). Would you refund if I sent the record back?" and here's his answer: "No won't take it back. It was sold fairly and didn't in any way try to imply it was an original or a boot.I don't collect American, so I wouldn't know Dave" WHAT THE F*CK'S THAT ALL ABOUT? Since when is it ok to sell (lookalike) boots without mentioning it? Oh but he doesn't collect American, so it's allright

Never thought it was booted either. But the lack of a stemp + the strange lettering/bubbly label made me doubt... And I rather ask it here than sell a boot to someone. Here's the scans for the 2 sides.

Had a copy for sale a while ago, but this weekend I checked it better, and on closer inspection there's a few dodgy things about the record that got me wondering... Never thought this was booted, but the strange thing is this one isn't stamped like the other Gamble 45s, the label is quite bubbly, and the lettering doesn't look 100% legit too. Bought it from a reputable seller on here, and I wouldn't accuse him of not doing his homework, but still I'm not convinced. Anyone else seen boots of the white label of this one? I'm not near the record atm, but can post up scans tomorrow.
