STOP PRESS, STOP PRESS, STOP PRESS Due to an accident at work Mick H is unable to attend this Saturday at Banbury Soul Club. He has fallen through a ceiling and badly damaged his knee. He is gutted to let us down but has promised to DJ for Banbury Soul Club next year. As you can imagine it is difficult to get a guest DJ at this late hour. But Banbury's own Eddie Hubbard has agreed to step in at the last minute. Eddie is well known on the scene and has DJ'd at prestigious events like the 100 Club, Burnley and Cleethorpes Weekender. So I'm sure he will do a sterling job on the night. Apologies to all those who were hoping to attend to see Mick. But this is beyond all our control. I'm sure you all wish Mick H a speedy recovery so we can welcome him to the Club next year.

As JA said in the Odyssey doc a lot of these sounds aren't rare and he certainly doesn't like trophy hunters. So yes they would have been found eventually. But that shouldn't detract from those that sought them out and gave then a play.
