Like yourselves we too traveled to Wigan [ a little further than yourselves thou, and had to go second class by coach cuz we couldn't afford the train ] and we are also passionate about soul music. I will try to reply to Steve's post when Ive got a little longer to read it thorough. as for the records mentioned [ rare soul oldies ] they have been played at our venues and others around the south. [not boots ] we also play a few underplayed rare soul items eg Rufus Lumley / Mineapolis Minnisota. It ant as bad in the south as people might think. Best Tim

The record has been around for a good few years now, so the record hounds know what they are looking for, yet not to many copies turn up, that tells me its a hard one to find. I would want nearer £400 for mine if i was to sell it.

I cant understand why no'one ever mentions Innocent Bystanders, Frantic Escape, its a top tune and should be played more often as for me its everything a Northern Soul tune should be imho .

Pva glue does worik ive tried it many times,the trick is not to spread it to thin and not to touch the label and if for some reason it dosn't work stick it on your record boxes i have over 400 on mine now!
