I`m with you pete on that one i allways considered it as a lower priced item, but then again ive seen this on an auction list although i can`t remember what it went for, things change from day to day remember the thread on the VONTASTICS really wouldn`t know what johnny sayles is worth in todays see-saw climate

    As i said in earlier posts, its allways intrigued me the cover up thing, whilst i can understand the concept of covering a record to personalize it for your own spot and so others can`t find the original title, some of the records were so rare they didn`t need a cover up, & then again some of the really rare & are still rare to trhis day were never covered? i can understand the argument of well at that time they didn`t know just how rare the tracks were, but then again why were some covered and others not? i can`t remember JIMMY BURNS ever being covered or DON GARDNER but others such as JOHN & THE WIERDEST were

    There was a lot of things going on up yorkshire then so we went to either the clifton hall rotherham, or queens hall bradford, went to one at wigan with a palm tree in the middle of the dancefloor, can`t remember what it was called though
