Vaughan from Anglesey asked me to let you know that he went to the Ritz in Desborough last Saturday - Said it was a fabulous nite and a really good venue - the crowd of about 300 were incredibly friendly - for such an out of the way place he was stunned to see so many people there - the sounds were a broad blend of Wheel, Torch and Stafford oldies with a really buzzing R&B room upstairs. Considering that there were about 4 other events on within an hours drive it was astonishing to see such a good turnout. Karl the organizer did a great job.
Many in from the Cambridge area, and he tells me that that Monkey is well know down there - in fact they were keen to know more about the next summer Monkey all-nighter.
Vaughan travels a lot and said that if is in the area again he would definitely go again - one to recommend if you are in the area.........
