Capitol Soul Club Fri 28 Nov News

Capitol Soul Club Friday 28th November 4th Anniversary

"The end of an era and the start of a new" (Free CD to first 100 punters)

Well folks its that time again when we celebrate another year of Rare 6ts Soul/RnB @ The Dome in Tufnell Park North London.

This anniversary is even more special as two of the gang are leaving us. David Flynn is emigrating early next year to foreign lands and founder member Irish Greg is stepping down for his own reasons...boredom & Chelsea...

Alan Handscombe & Carl Fortnum will continue at the CSC and will be joined behind the decks by Mick H. from Nottingham as a resident.

Next years dates have been confirmed already and the booking of guest DJs (highest quality as usual). Guest DJs for the 4th Anniversary are Ady Croasdell (100Club) and the much travelled Mr Kenny Burrell.

The night is billed as the Rarest of The Rare (not value of records mind but Rarity & Obscurity) This should test most of the DJs to dig deep and find those obscure+unissued gems.

We recommend that you get there early to obtain the free CD (doors open at 9.30pm).

Please note that this is the last CSC for 2003 (December date cancelled)
