info from the New Century Website Philly Northern Soul hero Ronnie Walker is to make his debut appearances in the UK in January

Veteran Ronnie will be starring at The Quayside Exchange, High Street, Sunderland on Friday January 26th from 8pm till 3am and the next night Saturday 27th he will be appearing at the NCS Wolverhampton All-Nighter , Broookfields, Cannock Road, Wolverhampton from 8pm till 8am. Admission both nights is £10 and info is available from http://www.newcenturysoul.co.uk

Ronnie has recorded a series of classic 45's which have found favour on Northern Soul dancefloors over the years including "It's A Good Feeling",

"You're The One", his version of The Agents floorshaker "Trouble" and his Vince Montana produced disco-shuffler "You've Got To Try Harder" which became a favourite at Blackpool Mecca and the Manchester Ritz.

These will be s Ronnie's first ever performances outside the USA and he will be accompanied on his trip by Philly archivist and record collector Dave Brown.
