Winners Of Kent 25 Anniversary Tickets !

Winners Of Kent 25 Anniversary Tickets !

The competion closed last night at the stroke of midnight and after a busy day at the sharp end of a red pen we have got two winners of the grand prize of two tickets for the forthcoming Kent 25 Year Bash

Thanks to all who had a go, thanks to Kent records for the prize, and hope the winners have a cracking time

Ady C be getting in touch with the winners via email .
Just in case you may have  forgotten,  the 3 q's are below, followed by Ady C's words
Thanks

Mike

Q1 Name any two of the people photoed on the front cover of "For Dancers Only" Kent 001

Q2 Name five artists who have had Kent solo CDs or LPs

Q3 Name three of the US labels Kent/Ace now own.

Thanks to all the entrants to the rather tough Kent competition, out of 19 million entrants only two got all the answers right, so rather than pick the winner of the pair of tickets out of a hat, we're gonna give them one each.

The winners are Alan Mitchell and Jean Paul Seculaire.

The simplest answers for the photo were Randy Cozens and Ian Clark, though lots of people got Randy's brother Gil's taxi driver! That is deep knowledge. My fair face wasn't featured; something to do with broken lenses.

You all got the individual artists-easy peasy, but the third question was the deal breaker.

Sadly we don't own Stax, Westbound, Twilight or Okeh. Those deals are all licensed in. We do own Kent, Modern, Money, Goldwax, Mirwood, Arock, Sylvia, Flip, Fraternity, Spring, Event, Dore, Era, Combo, GWP, Topper and several more I can't think of. One astute competitor with a long memory and murky past remembered Chiswick, the punkish label that started it all.

Thanks very much and congrats to the winners.

Ady
