Quck word from Dougie Hall on recent tribute event to thank u guys for the assistance ref charity Edwin Starr tribute night Newark Notts

Jimmy James was the stand in for the late Edwin Starr and he did not disappoint playing all his classic songs plus a medley of club soul 60`s style and gave us a twenty minute encore leaving the audience breathless

All the local jox played good spots and the Edwin Starr tribute spot by Dougie Hall gave us 10 classic Edwin records from “I have faith in you” to “my weakness is you”. I won’t mention them all but it was worthwhile that we raised over three thousand pounds towards Uk cancer research. And we would like to thank every one that came along and participated n behalf of the organisers and sweet soul collective Newark makemvinyl@aol.com would like any feedback from the gig
