Hayley Records is proud to announce the release of THE STYLISTS ‘I need your loving ( to satisfy my soul) b/w JOHNNY GRIFFITH BAND ‘Operator please’.
The STYLISTS release is an up tempo dancer recorded at United Sound Systems in Detroit around 1968 and features a fantastic string arrangement by Motown maestro Paul Riser and the very best Detroit backing musicians ably assisted by Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
The flip side is the instrumental version of Tony & Tyrone’s ‘Please operator’ by the studio musicians assembled as JOHNNY GRIFFITH BAND at Theme Productions in Detroit MI. around 1966/67 and needs no introduction!
Both tunes are guaranteed to fill dance floors across the country.
