Hi,
I have some bad news re TOTW on 1st November: it won't be going ahead.
For the last few weeks, I have been trying to find a workaround, but have finally given up, as it has become impossible.
Firstly, the Club (TOTW) didn't want to run beyond 4am due to attendances falling away at that time, and it being commercially inviable thereafter as a result. I know this is usually the case these days and fully understood.
It was mutually agreed to move it to the smaller, rear downstairs room, which holds around 300, between 7pm - 4am.
Very recently, I learned that this downstairs room had been leased out to another, independent, operator on a long-term basis, so was no longer available. I was offered the other downstairs room, which has a weird, 'disco floor' consisting of flashing glass tiles! Obviously, this wasn't going to be acceptable to Northern Soul People, so I declined.
So, we are now looking at late January/February for the next All-Nighter, in the Main Room, 7pm - 4am with a friendly £10 admission.

NOTE! At the request of TOTW Management this will now run in the smaller, atmospheric downstairs room and the insistence of TOTW will now finish at 4am; principally because 90% of attendees have gone by then and the costs of staying open are prohibitive. Obviously it's their club and they have the final say. I have no control over this.
In any event the trend now is for smaller rooms and shorter hours, although the room now being used does hold around 350 which is more than most regular Niters (and Soulnights) achieve. It still features a superb in-house sound system. The revised, lower admission price reflects these changes. Apologies for any inconvenience.
