About The Event

Soul Music returns to Newport's Royal Naval Club , Bellmans Yard, Newport,  Shropshire  TF10 7AJ

For its 3rd voyage of the New Year.

 In a great little club with DJ's playing 45's across the board on the rarer and underplayed side 

with a bit of crossover, a few classics and a sprinkling of Motown, all on original Vinyl / Styrene.

This months guest "Birthday Boy" Ted Massey  joins Bill Bishop, David Richards 'Spook ' and Len Cook .

Still only £4 At the door plus we run a regular raffle in aid of Severn Hospice .

    Hi,

    If you are visiting for the 1st time it can be a little difficult to find even thought it is on Newport High St, the narrow access road is by a post box , where the white van is.

    The club car park was full last month and a few had to park on the High Street (which is not a problem) but there is Stafford Street Car park which is sort of behind the club with a walkway back to the High street.

    Stafford Street Carpark is  split into two areas - short stay by walkway and further down it is long stay.

    According to Parkopedia the long stay is Free but please, please read all the parking signs for fees and time limits.

    Please do not park on :

    Waitrose

    Pheasant Pub

    Shakespeare  Pub - (Badderly Court)

    As these have 2 to 3 hours controlled parking.
