After a couple of months away The Harrogate Soul Lounge returns for 2022. Last Friday of the month - starting 25 February.

All types of soul music (not just northern top 500), all played on the original vinyl releases*, with no boots or pressings issued years after. 

The format is less well known and less dancier numbers pre 10pm and more well known dancers after 10. DJ's are Michael Lowcock, John Postill, and Ian Smith with occasional guests and/ or stand ins.

Comfortable Lounge setting with dancefloor and reasonable bar - the Soul Lounge is on Robert Street, off Station Parade in Harrogate Town Centre - opposite Waitrose. It is 5 minutes from Bus and Train stations and on the 36 bus ropute with late buses to Leeds and street parking.

* - We define Original Vinyl as first local US release or first national US release within c  12 months, and first British (or other national) release within 12 months. If it isn't this and we play it we will tell you!
