Following our debut session at The Paradise with the excellent Steven Clancy guesting, Color One Tear Black returns on Sunday 13th March with Val Palmer and Chris Payne bringing the 45s heat.
Most of you will know Val from her long commitment to DJing soul music in its various shades. Chris, you might not – he is a died-in-the-wool collector of impeccable taste whose selections can be heard on Mixcloud under the name agent00banana. Val and Chris will be joining COTB residents, Claire Kalvis and David Hill.
Set up in February 2016 by Thierry Cochet, AKA Dr Kruger (NTS), Color One Tear Black celebrates group harmony, sweet and deep soul music, played on original issue 45s by resident DJs Claire Kalvis, Jim Edwards, Dr Kruger, David Hill and guests. The night now runs on the second Sunday of each month at The Paradise, 19 Kilburn Lane, London. W10 4AE.
