Update - Tuesday 14 June - The Harrogate Soul Lounge due to take place on Friday 17 June has been cancelled and re arranged for Friday 22 July. More information to foloow. Sincere apologies for any inconvenience.

 

The Harrogate Soul Lounge is back - one week earlier than usual this month on Friday 17 June at St Roberts Club, Robert Street, Harrogate, HG1 1 HP. (400 yds from bus and train stations opposite Waitrose on StationParade).

A relaxed event with soul music of all persuasions - funk, modern, 70's crossover, classic R&B, soul hits and some northern. More underplayed before 10 and some great dancers afterwards. All tunes played on original vinyl (first contemporary national issue), maybe with an occasional second issue (eg 45 from an album) but definitely no boots.

Friendly atmosphere, and conivial lounge setting with dance floor.
