Harrogate Soul Lounge is a free chilled out event, in a relaxed lounge setting with dancefloor. All music played on original vinyl releases. In the autumn we are shifting the music policy towards lively up front dancers of all soul persuasions (less rare soul and crossover) and will be holding 3 soul theme nights plus a NYE special event.
Friday 22 September - jazz funk, disco and neo soul. DJ's Ian, John, Mike & Alec Preston.
Friday 27 October - 60's youth Club Classics with Motown, Stax, Northern and some Ska. DJ's Ian, John & Mike
Friday 24 November - 70's soul with plenty of Philly DJ's Ian, John, Mike & Alec.
Sunday 31 December 7pm til 1am - a special NYE Soul Party with all forms of soul and disco tunes. DJ's Ian, John, Mike & Alec. This will be an all ticket event admission £5 - details to follow soon.
The Harrogate Soul Longe is situated at St Robert's Club, 5 Robert Street, Harrogate HG1 1HP. It is located opposite Waitrose on Station Parade about 600 metres from Harrogate Bus and Train stations. There are late (36) buses to Leeds and Ripon.
