About The Event

The Weekend starts on Thursday night a four-night four afternoon event over three function rooms,

Northern Soul & R&B // Motown & Club Classic room, and a Modern Room. chill-out lounges and bars around the hotel, a superb restaurant seating 350 people serving a large variety of foods including vegetarian and vegan options

This weekend package price includes bed breakfast and evening meals, entrance to all three function rooms and bars.   

The Merton has an indoor fully heated Aqua dome with Spa Pools, Sauna and Steam Room, there is a fully equipped gym on site. Everything to make it a fantastic weekend!

The main weekender package is for four nights (Thursday to Monday) with the added flexibility of staying for additional nights either on the Wednesday night before and or the Monday night after the weekend, Guests will also have the option of a three-night weekender (Friday to Monday)

Dj line up for the weekend The Man Himself / Yocky / Jools Metcalf / Rob Yates / Barry Cooper / Jim D / Sam Moore / Mick J / Fitzy / Lawrence Grimshaw / Daz and Foggy /  plus open box sessions every afternoon

The Merton Hotel has a card system, you get a card at reception (like a debit card) you put money on it, this gives you 15% discount on all food and drinks you buy in the hotel, great saving.

    Fitzy and Christine  would like to say a big THANK YOU! to all those who attended the 2024 Fitzsoul Jersey Soul Weekender. As ever it was  a very memorable weekend, enjoyed by almost 400 travelling from mainland UK and lot's more of our local Jersey Soul Family. It was great to see lots of old friends with many soul fans attending for the 10th time! It was great to see so many new faces too. Big thanks also to all the Djs Yocky / Mick Jay / Jools / Rob Yates / Sam Moore / Jim D / Lawrence / Daz & Foggy and all the open box afternoon session Djs,     the lovely staff at the Merton Hotel. Great hospitality and fantastic food as always. See you all again next year 2025

    Just got to second what fitzi said the weekend was fantastic in both mine and mandys opinion apart from 2018 (when we got married)) the best one yet all the rooms buzzing I even popped my head in the modern room and music was top notch 3 things that made it for me and mandy was fun fun fun like it used to be I heard loads of records I didn't know a load of new faces asking names of tunes then requesting them next night to dance even had a couple of dances myself (george pepp) the only downside was when fitzi played the jersey weekend last record then 4 days of pure escapism was over till next year looking forward to seeing you all next year take care
