On Sunday 14th January, we welcome back Chris ’The Chef’ Payne and Ged Kelly as the first Color One Tear Black guests of the New Year.
Both Chris and Ged are COTB family, and both have impeccable taste and deep collections – Ged ran the X-Ray Soul Club with COTB’s Jim Edwards, and Chris does the well-regarded shows on Mixcloud under the name agent00banana. It will be a treat to hear what they draw for the 14th.
COTB residents Claire Kalvis, Jim Edwards and David Hill, and will also be spinning alongside Chris and Ged on the 14th.
Set up in February 2016 by Thierry Cochet, AKA Dr Kruger (NTS), Color One Tear Black celebrates group harmony, sweet, two-step and deep soul music, played on original issue 45s by resident DJs Dr Kruger, Claire Kalvis, Jim Edwards, David Hill, JM and guests.
The night runs on the second Sunday of each month at The Paradise, Kensal Green, west London.
