Make sure to mark your calendar for Southport's eagerly awaited Rhythm and Soul music event, "The Blue Cat Soul Club." The event is scheduled for Sunday, 4th August, from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm at "Smokey Joes", formally Purple Rain Lounge Bar on Queen Anne's Street, Southport, PR8-1EH.
It's just a six-minute walk from the railway station and best of all, admission is free! If you're feeling hungry, make sure to check out the excellent food menu.
"The Blue Cat Soul Club" has a "style of its own" that you won't find anywhere else. So, why not spend the whole day soaking in the sounds of Rhythm 'n Blues, 60s soul, Latin & Boogaloo, and even a bit of ska, carefully selected by our DJs.
But that's not all! As a special highlight, we are honoured to welcome guest DJs Lisa Lane & Peter Baker of The Cooey Club, who will be spinning some seriously cool tunes.
