Stanley Soul Club Event - Review.

What a brilliant night at our event last night made all the better for seeing all our soul friends and like-minded soulies who travelled from near and far too join us and support our humble event.

It was great to see our lovely regular supportes and wonderful to see those who came and joined us for the first time inspired by our fantastic guest DJ Paul Eatough who played a fantastic set which kept the floor packed throughout. Many thanks Paul as we look forward to seeing you behind the decks again in the future.

A big thank you to our good soul friend Chas King who started of the evening, spinning his favourite tunes with a brilliant selection of dance music which we all enjoyed. Many thanks Chas.

A big thank you to our resident DJ's Graeme / Karen Bickerton who played two fantastic sets of pure classic floor-fillers with a sprinkling of classic Motown dancers. A big thank you too both of you for helping to dismantle and load away the equipment at the end of the evening.

It was great to see the Grimsargh Soul Club on tour, who joined us for the evening. Thank you David Hutchy-Soultime, Gamekeeper Jones, Dolly and friends who had travelled a fair distance to join us - thank you all.

A big thank you to all the staff at The Stanley Club, Burscough for looking after our visitors, and a fond farewell to Ashley who is moving on to his next job - good luck mate.

We look forward to seeing everyone again on Saturday 11th October for our 4th Anniversary Northern Soul / Motown at The Stanley, Burscough, when we will be joined by our Special Guest DJ Carole Anne McCarthy who will be spinning her favourite dance floor-fillers, and we'll also be celebrating one of regular supporters (Jill's) birthday on the same evening.
