So with less than a week to go until our last party of 2024 at The Goods In…it’s time to start introducing the amazing guest DJs❤️
First up is Lynne who myself and Mandie regard as one of our best mates.
We met Lynne around 8 yrs ago now along with Dave and we all instantly hit it off and the rest is history !!❤️
Not only is she a great dj but a wonderful human being too ❤️
You really are in for a musical treat 💥

Lynne Girdwood-Dj Bio

I started collecting original Soul, Funk and Disco records around 2010.  My first spot was at the opening night of the Soul Collective in Aberdeen in 2015, thanks to Tony Bruce for this.

Since then I’ve been lucky enough to DJ at some amazing clubs and weekenders in the UK and across Europe. Had the most amazing times with the most amazing folk who are now life long dear friends. 

I run Good Good Feeling in Bathgate with Dave, where the emphasis is on across the board soul music. 

Expect to hear anything soulful from me from 60’s soul through to disco and soulful house. 

Oh…also expect to drink a lot of tequila!

Soul music has always been my greatest passion—a soundtrack that’s shaped my journey through most of my life. My love story with it began with the sounds of 60s soul and R’n’B, which have been at the core of my sets for years. More recently, I’ve been diving deeper into the incredible grooves of crossover and 70s soul.
Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to share this music at soul and mod nights in London, across the UK, and even further afield in Europe. Every event brings something special, and the chance to connect with fellow music lovers is something I never take for granted.
That’s why I’m so honoured and thrilled to be joining you, for an unforgettable night of soul! I’ll be bringing a bag records that I can’t wait to share with you. Let’s of celebrate the music that moves us—on the dance floor, together!

With the weekend fast approaching it’s time to introduce our final guest Dj.
Alex is a very good friend of mine and a soul brother🙏
I have followed his journey over the last 6/7 yrs and seen him blossom as a Dj and as a top human being❤️
His passion and dedication are second to none and records are very high on the agenda!!
I had the pleasure recently to play along side Alex over at Movin On and it was real buzz💥
He’s certainly developed his own style and is always looking to add new additions to his sets keeping it fresh.
Alex has already  dj’d at the first LDSM earlier this year at our super cool venue The Goods In…by

Hi, I’m Alex from Newcastle.

I started out collecting records over 17 years ago and my tastes go completely across the board. I started off DJing in bars and clubs of Newcastle over 12 years ago and currently one of the residents at Heart Of Soul, Lewisham and Home Run Soul Club, Manchester. 

Such a pleasure to be invited back by Darren at LDSM with my lovely soul family where all styles of soul are championed💎👊🏽
