Having been in the soul scene for over 45 years there is very little that surprises me nowadays. I've been to many venues up and down the country both large and small but no idea how I've missed 'Jersey Soul' as I understand it's been running for 16 years! My arm was 'twisted' to go with a team effort from my wife Janice Jackson and soul mate Tony Hall!

What then transpired, was one of the best weekenders I have attended - we just couldn't fault it, the hotel staff were truly amazing, we all need a few months to lose the weight we put on with the fabulous food, the music was a perfect mix of well known and some lesser played classics, the dance floor and sound system was perfect and quite simply the friendliest bunch of Soulies you could want to meet.

Two of my greatest passions in life are soul music and photography. I manged to combine the two with a couple of hours near the lido and the afternoon round island coach trip.         we will be back! roll on this year!!!

Still taking booking for this fabulous weekender in Jersey, our 17 year and still going strong, here are a few options when flying with Easy Jet, Liverpool have flights every day so lots of option,

Birmingham and Manchester only have flights on Thursday and Sunday (still only £65 return) so you can make it a 3 night stay,

Luton have no fights on Thursday, you can have a extra night by flying out on Wednesday till Monday 5 night stay or 4 nights and fly back Sunday, or 3 nights Friday to Monday, lot of options (all these flights are about £65 return)

Gatwick fly every day 3 flights a day lots of options (all these fights are about £69 return)
