Stevenage New Town Soul Club

A new night in a town that hosted many Soul nights back in the later 60s to early 70s. Places like The Patio Suite, Locarno Mecca Danestrete, Bowes Lyon House, The Glass Onion - Broadhall Way, The New Penny Discotheque - Queensway, Town Centre. Classic Soul dance tracks from labels such as Stateside, Motown, Stax, Cameo-Parkway, Atlantic, Ric Tic, Invictus, plus many more would get played alongside Ska & Reggae dancers. That's what this event is about, nothing obscure or super rare, just very good dance music of that time.
