About The Event

Color One Tear Black is back on Sunday 9th March, when guests Ethan Saunders and DJ Dek One will be both making their debuts with us.

Together with Tim Smith, Ethan Saunders is co-host of the long-running The Pentagon Faceslap radio show on NTS Radio, which features a broad range of sounds from dusty hip-hop and soul, to no-wave and further. AT COTB he will be spinning alongside friend and veteran soul and funk collector DJ Dek One, who is a regular at our Sunday sessions and runs the Brothers and Sisters nights. We know they’ll both be diggin’ deep for this.

COTB residents also spinning on the 9th will be Claire Kalvis, Jim Edwards, David Hill and JM.

Set up in February 2016 by Thierry Cochet, AKA Dr. Kruger (nts radio), Color One Tear Black celebrates group harmony, mellow steppers, sweet and deep soul music, all played on original issue 45s by resident DJs Dr Kruger, Claire Kalvis, Jim Edwards, David Hill, JM and monthly guests.

Color One Tear Black on Sunday 9th March, 16.00 until 23.30

COTB runs on the second Sunday of each month at The Paradise:
